Good morning to respected teachers and my dear colleagues. As we all know the reason for gathering here in such a large crowd. We are here to celebrate Teachers' Day today and to pay a warm tribute to them for their tireless efforts to make our future and that of the nation. Today, September 5th, we celebrate Teachers' Day every year with great joy, happiness, and enthusiasm. First of all, I would like to thank my class teacher for giving me such a great opportunity for the speech here on this great occasion. My dear friends, today on Teachers' Day I would like to talk about the importance of teachers in our English life.
September 5th is celebrated as Teachers' Day every year across India. In fact, September 5th is the anniversary of the birth of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a great scholar and teacher. In his later life, he first became Vice President of the Indian Republic and then President of the Indian Republic.

Students across the country are celebrating the day to honor their teachers. It is really said that teachers are like the backbone of our society. They play a big role in building the character of students and shaping them to become an ideal citizen of India.

Teachers teach students very carefully and sincerely, just like their own children. It is well said that the teachers are excellent than parents. Parents give birth to a child while teachers shape its character and make the future bright. So, we never forget and ignore them, we respect and love them always. Our parents are responsible for giving us quality love and care, but our teachers are responsible for making the future bright and prosperous. They made us know the importance of education in our lives through their continuous efforts. They are an inspiration to us that helps us move forward and succeed. They motivate us to study by giving examples of great personalities from around the world. 

They make us so strong and prepare to withstand any obstacle in life. They become full of immense knowledge and wisdom with which they nourish our lives. Come on my dear friends, say together that "our respected teachers, we are always grateful to you for everything you do to us". My dear friends, we must always obey the orders of our teachers and follow their advice to be worthy citizens of India.
